This is the basic recipe to freedom, expansion and play. We can add more ingredients, and we will:

We mix it all up and we serve it for the first time in FOUR years, in the EAST of Spain, precisely in the Masia of Amara Valley, one of the most emblematic retreat centres, a haven for artists, dreamers and lovers.
These days almost anything gets called a ‘Retreat’.
The magic of words unite but also limit us.
We understand retreat as a physical and spiritual place that invites us to leave the noise and rush that consume us, day to day, to enter a ‘quantum time’.
And what is quantum time?
That liminal space where everything is possible, where the laws of man dissipate, where time extends like chewing gum, and the clicks and ahas happen in our minds and saturated hearts.
We tend to go to retreats in search of rest and/or answers.
GOOD.
Well, you also come to this immersion in search of Chocolate.
Chocolate.
CHOCOLATE.
It's actually much, much, much more than Chocolate.
Here we talk of Cacao, and not just any Cacao, we talk of Ceremonial Cacao.
WILD CACAO aka CACAO SALVAJE is a Immersion designed to go deeper, through the Medicine Wheel of Cacao, channeled by us, into the wisdom of Cacao as a Tree of Power.
During 5 days and 4 nights we will explore, play, inquire and connect with the spirit of this sacred plant, whose mission is to open the heart of all human beings to help us evolve through love.

We believe that during these times we need even more of this ingredient. Huge amounts.

We are not gonna tell you all the chef’s secrets, but we will give you some tasting tapas so that your mouth starts to melt.

There is no accommodation available in tents or camper vans. We love our furry friends, but dogs are not allowed in the Masia.
Rooms are equipment with mattresses, pillows, cotton sheets and high quality quilts. Bathrooms are shared.

Each year we like to collaborate with professionals that help and support our mission at Cacao Salvaje. This year we are delighted to have Marta and Sergi. They will share their wisdom through the workshop “Path to Freedom” helping us expand the voice of our Heart.

We will then contact you to agree on the form and terms of payment for the rest of the amount depending on the date you registered.

Spaces are limited to 30 people.
Can you meet my needs if I have special dietary requirements?
Of course.
Keep in mind that our proposal is to opt for a vegan diet to promote digestion and the integration of the chemistry of Cacao in our bodies.
If you have any intolerances or require food options different from what we propose, tell us about it and we will do our best to accommodate. May incur an additional fee.
CAN I PAY IN INSTALLMENTS?
Yes, we offer up to three installments. Payment to be completed 30 days prior to the start of the retreat. Will incur a 50 € admin fee.
WHAT EFFECTS DOES CEREMONIAL CACAO HAVE?
Cacao is a very loving plant that shows us the path with subtlety and kindness.
Subtlety is not at odds with depth, communion with this plant will give you great knowledge about yourself.
Cacao is not a hallucinogenic plant, rather she whispers to us, inviting and accompanying us. At a physical level, it is a stimulating plant that has the capacity to open our heart.
Ceremonial doses of Cacao are not recommended for people with epilepsy, high blood pressure, serious heart and liver diseases, and in some cases when taking antidepressants or antipsychotics, without speaking with you physician beforehand.

HOW TO GET TO AMARA VALLEY?
Amara Valley is located 45 minutes from Girona and 100 minutes from Barcelona.
Some weeks before the retreat we will send you an email with all the coordinates and create a group to facilitate the organisation.
If you want to ride share or you are coming from outside Spain, please let us know so we can help you manage your journey, please bear in mind that getting to Amara Valley is part of your pilgrimage and is your responsibility.
CAN I ATTEND THE RETREAT IF I'VE NEVER DRANK CEREMONIAL CACAO?
Yes, in fact, people who have never tried Cacao in ceremony will reap great benefits from this experience.
Many people respond to the calling without knowing very well what it is they are coming to, and the result is lifelong learning and support from the spirit of Cacao.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Some weeks before the Retreat we will get in touch with you with a list of what you will need to bring. Do not worry about this, it will be simple things.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ONCE BOOKED I CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE RETREAT?
Cancellations made by you: reservation made is non refundable.
Cancellation by the organization: refund the amount paid minus a 20 € admin fee or can be exchanged for another event or service.
Here is a video of the first retreat of Cacao Salvaje in September 2021. Whilst it is in Spanish, know that the retreat will also be in English. We are cooking the video from the 3rd Edition in 2023!
